Chris Thomas, President

As a child, Chris was always interested in computers and the rapid pace in which the technology changes. His thirst for learning grew as quickly as the technology changed and he wanted to know everything about how computers worked.

Chris’ thirst for education led him to graduate high school early. He enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in the field of Ground Communication Repair where he learned management skills as well as honed his extensive troubleshooting skills. While in this position, Chris learned how to repair everything from computers and networks to printers, radios and many other communications devices used by the US Military.

After Chris’ enlistment ended, he left the military to better serve his family in civilian life. He started out working in small telecommunications company in Sales. While in that position, he quickly learned how to program complex phone systems. Making the transition from Telecom to Information Technology seemed like a natural shift.

To continue his education after the military, Chris went on to earn his AAS degree in 2009 from MTI in Information Technology and Security. With his education and experience, he began working for a local IT company where he progressively moved up to become the Director of IT while also earning his BAS degree in Information Technology and Network Administration from American Intercontinental University in 2016. Chris continued to set his sights on building something bigger so, when he met Michael VanCamp, they quickly realized they shared the same vision. The decision for Chris was easy when he decided to join Michael at Pulse Technology Consulting Group. They’ve built a successful business together serving clients in the greater Sacramento area.

When Chris isn’t helping clients, he can be found spending time with his large family or friends playing board games and card games at home. He also volunteers as a Scout Master for a local Boy Scout troop. This has allowed him to rediscover his passion for the outdoors.
